A high quality example of a Pesh Kabz dagger from the 19th century.
The large hilt features a thick two piece ivory grip section and is finished with steel bolsters and grip strap decorated with gold Koftgari overlay in floral design.
The blade is of a strong armour piercing form with a “T” section spine and reinforced edge. Forged of dark Wootz Crucible Steel the blade displays an active and busy watered pattern of high contrast.
In good condition overall.
