A clean example of a 19th century North Indian ‘Tulwar’ sword.
The steel hilt is of open guard form with a sun burst on the pommel disk, decorated with silver Koftgari overlay in geometric and floral design, which remains approximately 85% intact.
The blade is of typical ’Tulwar’ curvature and is well made.
In very good condition overall.
