An interesting example of a North Indian Kukri.
The hilt is an ensemble of Mother of Pearl and Jadeite grips with bolsters and cross-guard of steel construction.
The blade is of traditional Kukri form made with conviction and very well executed.
Complete with original leather over wood scabbard fitted with silver throat locket and chape. The scabbard also features an elegant portrait of a woman rendered on a piece of Mother of Pearl inset into the scabbard.
