A fine example of a 19th century Rajput Tulwar.
This Tulwar boasts a large, open-form hilt adorned with rich gold overlay, intricately carved with floral and scrolling designs for a captivating inverse visual effect.
The pommel disc is embellished with a traditional Rajput sunburst motif (suraj parkash), showcasing fine craftsmanship.
The slightly curved blade features a distinct Wootz watered pattern with strong contrast on one side and a luminous mirror polish finish on the opposite.
Complete with its original scabbard, wrapped in red velvet over a wood core.
