An early all steel Bikaner Tulwar with fine dark Wootz blade marked with multiple punch-dot inscriptions in the iconic style that is synonymous with arms that were once a part of the Junaghar Fort armoury in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The most notable inscription translates to: ‘Bahra to Ravi Shri 1742 Muhajir 355 of 384’.
The steel hilt is designed for practical combat with a swollen grip section, compact pommel disc and a cross guard terminating with rounded quillon terminals.
The blade features a thick spine that meets its yelman section in an expert manner, providing aesthetically appealing clean lines. The dark Wootz exhibits good contrast with a visible active watered pattern.
